Recordings, photoshoots!

Man.. just read my previous post. wasn't very nice. but wanna keep it as real as possible la.

It's ok now, but i know the issue lies pretty deep. was talking to someone about it. it apparently is a psychological phenomena..

anyways.. this is wad i'm busy with nowadays. It's fun=) must really thank God for the really amazing opportunities He's given me. Our God really knows how to take care of us. Now and then, he even pampers us. =) =)


BlackIsle Studios. went there with kev john clem to do the song. ha. i think we're the most ameteur band the studio has ever seen.

Been pretty busy of late. Got to rush song lyrics.. so the vocalist got somethign to sing! Wish i had James' wit!















The facilities they have there are nice! We did this thing called Single Track Recording. It means that we record the instruments one at a time.

It's not easy. Now we all appreciate bands with their albums.. i went first. Had to follow a Metronome@!!! my gosh. But i still prefer the 'silent recording' at studiophille at Bugis. it's really like jamming, and someone recording you. with super professional mix. but i guess at BlackIsle, they really scrutinise your playing while mastering the song.

Wa, had a SUPER GREAT time during the musical photoshoot!! In fact, so great that i forgot to take more photos!!!! Went on friday. It was at this ulu warehouse place. But apparently, people like 5566, denise keller, can't remember who else, came here to do their shots. This company did the 'sterilise your pets' advertising creatives. very pro.

My only 'quibble' is that.. although these are glamour shots... my role is far from glamourous... man.. i don't know whether to look forward to the posters or not.. Along with me, Ning is another unglam star!! haha. see below.

























I wish i had some photos of nat and jasper. Nat was really like this jap star. looked stunning man. and Jasper was this Goth rocker. I think he can be model, ha, besides, he's already been in teenage.

The photographer guys were nice too. I think it was their first time taking such an unlikely bunch of people.. the hair stylist kept laughing while doing my hair! Jimmy insists every inch of me be ripped of it's coolness.
